Beth Tephillah Staff Pastors and Directors Malcolm and Diana Dow are the Pastors of Williamstown Baptist Church and the Directors of Beth Tephillah Ministries and the Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre. They have one son, David. Malcolm is a former University Lecturer, Electrical Engineer and Mathematician. He has worked at the former Department of Civil Aviation, CSIRO and Victoria University of Technology, and has carried out research and teaching in computer technology, robotics, vision systems and artificial intelligence (He says this was because they couldn't find enough of the real stuff!), He has degrees in Mathematics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Theology. He is also the church's musician - his keyboard skills being in demand for conferences and community festivals. More details are available here at his Optushome website or Malcolm Dow Dot Com, his autobiographical blog. Diana is a former Librarian, working first in a research library in England, then as Deputy Librarian at Williamstown Public Library. She has academic qualifications in Librarianship and in Christian Ministry. Diana was International Know Your Bible Director from 1999 - 2004 for Christian Women Communicating International. During this time she travelled internationally sharing the message of KYB. She runs two KYB groups in Williamstown. They are both experienced teachers and prayer ministers, trained by Elijah House Australia, Wholeness Through Christ Ministies (Australia), and Anazao. Malcolm has served on University, Christian school, and prayer ministry training organisation boards. Diana has served on the International Board of Christian Women Communicating International (CWCI) and as International KYB Director of CWCI's Know Your Bible arm. She runs two KYB groups of her own. Malcolm & Diana have previously run three courses in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne for WTCMA, including Carroll Thompson's Possess the Land and the WTCMA Basic Course - Healing the Whole Person. Malcolm has taught the WTCMA Advanced Course with Pat Shepherd. They have assisted in other courses and conferences for Elijah House, Vineyard and Ellel Ministries, as well as runing Beth Tephillah's own prayer ministry courses. In 2001 the Prayer Ministries Network organised the very successful Deliverance through Deep Healing conference in Melbourne with Dr. Charles H. Kraft. In 2003 Beth Tephillah Ministries invited him back for a week of wonderful seminars at Crossway, Werribee and Ballarat. See our Library & Resources page for video and audio tapes of these conference. In 2003 they taught the Come Out! Be Free! prayer ministry course at Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre, and in 2005 they took seminars on Hearing God's Voice, Intercession, Spiritual Warfare, Prayer Ministry and Prophetic Ministry. In 2006, as part of BTMC's 10th anniversary celibration, they invited Peter and Heather Toth of Anazao Ministries from the Gold Coast, to do a seminar on ministry to DID and SRA victims, followed by four weeks of ministry at BTMC. Since then Malcolm and Diana have trained with the Toths, and have been approved by them to take referrals for ministry to dissociation using the unique and effective Anazao method. Malcolm and Diana are founder members of Intercessors for Melbourne and commenced the Intercessors for Hobson's Bay group, so they are experienced in intercession and spiritual warfare. In December 2000 Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre helped to found the Healing Prayer Ministries Network, a communication and support network for prayer ministry centres and prayer ministry training organisations. Malcolm is the webservant for HPMN. They have also helped to establish prayer ministry centres in Ballarat, Geelong, Colac and Warnnambool. In his 'spare time' Malcolm runs Roaring Mouse, a business which provides communication resources for the 'little people', including website design, construction, hosting, and promotion, domain name registration, and video, audio and print production, publication and distribution. It is the Internet home of Roaring Mouse Counselling, Roaring Mouse Electronics and Roaring Mouse Publishing. He maintains numerous ministry websites, including those for Awakening West and Hobsons Bay Churches, and websites about speaking in tongues, how to be a Christian mystic without throwing your brains away, listening to God's voice, finding true intimacy with God, prayer counselling, an amateur radio blog about antenna design, simulation and construction called antennablog.com, The Blog Works, where you can learn all about building your own weblog, and many others. You can find out more about Malcolm at www.malcolmdow.com. More website links are available on our Associated Websites page. Administrator The Church Administrator is Arthur Donohue. Following a long career in the transport industry, Arthur has 'retired' and when he is taking a break from ensuring that the church and our pastoral lives run smoothly, devotes himself to competition lawn bowls, driving a bus for a retirement village, and ministering to the Lord Jesus and his people with his fine tenor voice. The choir to which Arthur belongs is in great demand at numerous churches, nursing homes and retirement villages.
