While healing prayer ministry is always available for those who are part of the Beth Tephillah Simple Church Network, such healing prayer ministry, or prayer counselling, is also offered at Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre for others not part of the Beth Tephillah community.
Ministry is by prior appointment by telephoning Diana at (03) 9397 2430. Sessions are available on Friday mornings, at 9:30 am and 11:30 am, and Tuesday evenings at 8:oo pm. They last for about 1 to 1.5 hours. A donation of $20 will cover the expenses of providing this ministry.
Prayer ministry is carried out by trained prayer counsellors and intercessors, who are all volunteers from a number of churches and denominations. The ministry has been operating since 1996, and staff have been trained by a number of organisations, including Beth Tephillah Ministries, Wholeness through Christ Ministries (Australia), Elijah House, Ellel Ministries, Sonrise Family Ministries, Anazao Ministries, and others.
Beth Tephillah Ministries is a founder member of the Healing Prayer Ministries Network, from which details of other ministries in our region may be obtained. The Healing Prayer Ministries Network exists to network Christian prayer ministry centres and prayer ministry training organisations so they can support and encourage each other.
More intensive prayer counselling is also offered by Diana and Malcolm Dow, for when the issue is more complex and requires more time or extensive ministry. This also is by appointment, and costs $50 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours. Availablility of appointments is limited and there is usually a waiting list.
