Williamstown Baptist Church was founded in 1868. Since 1988, when the Lord said he wanted to do a "new thing", and we sold our 105 year old building, it has been on a journey which has led to its present radical form. (This is appropriate, since the first groups of Baptists became known as 'The Radicals'). The Lord has given us a ministry to the unchurched and lonely, and to those who have been wounded by 'church' or family. We meet as a small group, or cell group, in a converted house (Beth Tephillah), usually on Friday night rather than Sunday, to eat together, to worship Jesus, and to learn how to live in the Kingdom of God. We seem to do a lot of eating! We seek to be faithful to the teaching and ministry of Jesus, and always Holy Spirit directed, as we rediscover our Father God's gifts to the church which have so often been obscured by tradition and the western culture in which we live. Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre is a ministry of Williamstown Baptist Church. It is a centre for prayer ministry and training in prayer ministry, prophetic intercession, healing, discipleship, spiritual warfare, and resourcing of the church and community. Beth Tephillah Ministries provides ministry and training opportunities and resources for local churches. Contact us if you would like a seminar on Hearing God's Voice, Prayer Ministry, Spiritual Warfare, Intercession or Prophetic Ministry in your church. While enabling us to cope when we are young, dissociate parts eventually become dysfunctional - a denial of truly living the life God gave us. This seminar aims to help participants learn how remove dissociate parts and deal with the accompanying sin issues and demons. Cost: $25.00. There will be practical sessions. Refreshments will be provided. BYO evening meal or buy food nearby. Please advise Malcolm or Diana Dow you are coming as places are limited and fill rapidly. Booking is essential.
